Arnaldo Bonifaco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Videl, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Marcelo Videl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnaldo Bonifaco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albino Cordara in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Videl in the 14th minute of play forced C.A. PEGASO's goalkeeper Arnaldo Bonifaco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Bonifaco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Videl in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to C.A. PEGASO getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Aquilino Austin hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Marcelo Videl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Bonifaco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Dorila AFC's Marcelo Videl sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Bonifaco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 33rd of the match, Albino Cordara tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Arnaldo Bonifaco got in the way and made a wonderful save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnaldo Bonifaco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Beturian to make the kick off. After some careless play in the C.A. PEGASO defense, Albino Cordara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnaldo Bonifaco. The C.A. PEGASO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnaldo Bonifaco should have stopped the shot. Albino Cordara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Idacio's late challenge caught a Dorila AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. PEGASO's Arnaldo Bonifaco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Cordara in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to C.A. PEGASO getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Aquilino Austin hit a great ball. If Marcelo Videl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. After 84 minutes, Candido Castulo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dorila AFC and the C.A. PEGASO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clemente Niva, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal.
