Bernardino Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Buba FC's Marco Dimo got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisco Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Guardia Imperial's zone, Rodrigo Nel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Gaskon came out of the goal and Rodrigo Nel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardino Lazcano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Escobar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marco Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Nel in the 24th minute of the match. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the game, Cayetano Escobar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bernardino Lazcano. Cayetano Escobar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Celso Cuarto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Bernardino Lazcano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. F.C. Guardia Imperial's Niceto Bilintx shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 35th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bernardino Lazcano but with some difficulty. In the 38th minute, Buba FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cayetano Escobar fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Nel in the 41st minute of play forced F.C. Guardia Imperial's goalkeeper Francisco Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Francisco Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Dimo in the 46th minute of the match. Cayetano Escobar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marco Dimo to make the kick off. If Marco Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rodrigo Nel came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Buba FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Nel couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Celso Cuarto managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Guardia Imperial's supporters rose to their feet, but Celso Cuarto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardino Lazcano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Marco Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Gaskon having to interfere. After 70 minutes, Fabricio Mendiko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buba FC and the F.C. Guardia Imperial players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Fabricio Mendiko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Laureano Tonete was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Bernardino Lazcano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filomeno Fidensio, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Buba FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Delmiro Ibar hit a great ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Francisco Gaskon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Buba FC's Marco Dimo got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, F.C. Guardia Imperial's Niceto Bilintx got a free kick in the 81st minute. Rodrigo Nel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Francisco Gaskon firmly grabbed it by the left post. The supporters of Buba FC booed when F.C. Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marco Dimo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. F.C. Guardia Imperial were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Buba FC for a fine match.
