Guaymallén's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Damaso Hernandez scored to the left of an out of position Carmelo Edur, making the score, 1-0. 21 minutes into the match, Arsenal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Miro came free, but Fidel Gutxi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Edur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gervasio Nesto in the 29th minute of the match. When Gervasio Nesto came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Arsenal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gervasio Nesto couldn't finish the play. Gervasio Nesto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Edur having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Elias Chepe kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Carmelo Edur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Hernandez in the 64th minute of play. If Elpidio Miro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Guaymallén's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Hernandez came free, but Carmelo Edur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenal FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Serafino Banegas 75 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Arsenal FC were awarded a corner in the 82th minute after Guaymallén's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eusebio Larra took the corner. The corner led Arsenal FC's Eusebio Larra to fire away a dangerous shot which Carmelo Edur despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Guaymallén's goal looked a bit too open when Damaso Hernandez came free, but Carmelo Edur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carmelo Edur showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 93rd minute, Fabio Loiola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Edur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damaso Hernandez went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guaymallén players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Arsenal FC.
