The supporters of Lupulo F.C. booed when F.C. Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayetano Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 10thth minute of the game Sebastian Bermudez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Guardia Imperial's Francisco Gaskon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luciano Egoitz made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lupulo F.C.'s Cristian Jokin. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sebastian Bermudez sped through F.C. Guardia Imperial's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Francisco Gaskon. Mariano Ignatius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cayetano Escobar, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the last second Mariano Ignatius throw himself and got hold of the ball when Cayetano Escobar in the 22ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. F.C. Guardia Imperial's Francisco Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sebastian Bermudez in the 25th minute of play. Celso Cuarto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Ignatius having to interfere. Sebastian Bermudez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Francisco Gaskon having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Sebastian Bermudez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lupulo F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastian Bermudez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Gaskon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cayetano Escobar to make the kick off. If Benigno Oalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute Cayetano Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sebastian Bermudez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Gaskon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Bermudez in the 64th minute. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. Guardia Imperial's zone, Sebastian Bermudez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Gaskon came out of the goal and Sebastian Bermudez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, F.C. Guardia Imperial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laureano Tonete to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the game, Sebastian Bermudez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Francisco Gaskon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sebastian Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Francisco Gaskon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benigno Oalo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco Gaskon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th minute Filomeno Fidensio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mariano Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
