In the 48th minute, Elpidio Miro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octavio Richie to make the kick off. A collision led to Guaymallén getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Vladimiro Manex hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Octavio Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Edur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Guaymallén defense, Octavio Richie kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carmelo Edur. The Guaymallén fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carmelo Edur should have stopped the shot. When Leeds United's Octavio Richie in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Romeo Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafino Banegas, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Octavio Erramu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Manex tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Carmelo Edur. An unnecessary self made goal, 2-0 in the 82nd minute. After 86 played minutes Guaymallén got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Manex. Octavio Erramu kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, Alejandro Eyague was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guaymallén's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leeds United the free kick. After a rather tough play, Guaymallén's Alejandro Eyague got a free kick in the 90th minute. Octavio Richie took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carmelo Edur. Carmelo Edur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Serafino Banegas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nunez Nafarroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Edur having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Leeds United had played much better football throughout.
