Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Jonatan Valerio came free, but Francisco Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Escobar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Adrio having to interfere. Sporting Lima Faso Club's Arnaldo Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Escobar in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Silvestre Hartz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Lima Faso Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Hartz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Gaskon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Francisco Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Lehoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sporting Lima Faso Club's Arnaldo Adrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cayetano Escobar in the 26th minute of play. Francisco Gaskon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvestre Hartz, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvestre Hartz in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francisco Gaskon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Silvestre Hartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Angelo Lehoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cayetano Escobar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Angelo Lehoi made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Sporting Lima Faso Club booed when F.C. Guardia Imperial was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Egoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Salvator had several of the F.C. Guardia Imperial's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 63 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Francisco Gaskon as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 69th minute of the match Laureano Tonete shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnaldo Adrio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Francisco Gaskon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Emiliano Inocente. Silvestre Hartz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Gaskon having to interfere. If Angelo Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sporting Lima Faso Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
