If Eustacio Bertin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 6 minutes, Cristian Guilabertus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leeds United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Guilabertus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Cristian Guilabertus came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Leeds United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Guilabertus couldn't finish the play. Octavio Richie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedicto Salvator during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 15th minute, Benedicto Salvator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Bertin's late challenge caught a Sporting Lima Faso Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eustacio Bertin helped the player get up and apologised. Arnaldo Adrio made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Octavio Richie sent off a good shot on target. Edelmiro Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Cristian Guilabertus hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Octavio Richie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leeds United's supporters rose to their feet, but Octavio Richie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnaldo Adrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nunez Nafarroa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A hard shot 38 in the game by Octavio Richie from a close distance when the talented Arnaldo Adrio managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Lima Faso Club's players were relieved. David Osorio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Adrio having to interfere. When Octavio Richie fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leeds United's protests and gave Octavio Richie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 42nd match minute, Leeds United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Richie to maneuver through the defense. When Silvestre Hartz came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Sporting Lima Faso Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvestre Hartz couldn't finish the play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octavio Richie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Angelo Lehoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romeo Belasko having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Leeds United's goalkeeper Romeo Belasko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Hartz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Nafarroa in the 75th minute of play forced Sporting Lima Faso Club's goalkeeper Arnaldo Adrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Octavio Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Leeds United's David Osorio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnaldo Adrio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Lima Faso Club's goalkeeper Arnaldo Adrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute David Osorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Adrio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Octavio Richie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Arnaldo Adrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnaldo Adrio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Osorio in the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Leeds United players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
