After a defensive mix-up in Liébana F.C.'s zone, Erubiel Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Silbestre came out of the goal and Erubiel Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ariel Silbestre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Oalo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Aureliano Lleir kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aureliano Lleir to make the kick off. If Sixto Cordero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raul Ignazio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Serafin Oalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes, Aristides Beturian mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Libero FC and the Liébana F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Oalo in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Silbestre saved Liébana F.C. from getting behind. The supporters of Libero FC booed when Liébana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Nahia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Serafin Oalo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Liébana F.C.'s Ariel Silbestre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Liébana F.C.'s Marcos Dominix got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 86th minute, Ciro Etxeberri sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Liébana F.C.'s Ariel Silbestre didn't even have to move. Marcos Dominix hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Ciro Etxeberri struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ariel Silbestre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Libero FC. When the match was over Libero FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Liébana F.C. throughout the match.
