After the first half Marapá AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the match, Marapá AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Egoitz came free, but Ovidio Raitin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Raitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Egoitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. If Uriel Egoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Marapá AFC's Jacinto Lehoi got a free kick in the 86th minute. Melquiades Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uriel Estavan having to interfere. 94 minutes in the game, Melquiades Gomez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Uriel Estavan having to interfere.
