Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ayajaso FC's Vicente Lawrence started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the game, Ayajaso FC's Ramiro Indar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ariel Silbestre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Benjamin Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ayajaso FC's Vicente Lawrence got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmelo Ubarna might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ariel Silbestre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Carmelo Ubarna ran back to his position shaking his head. Vicente Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ariel Silbestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Ayajaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Indar to maneuver through the defense. Silvano Quilino was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Sixto Cordero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sixto Cordero really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Benjamin Dolcet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ariel Silbestre. Liébana F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Dolcet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Vicente Lawrence came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ayajaso FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vicente Lawrence couldn't finish the play. If Benjamin Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 35 minutes on the clock, Raimundo Ledesma commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 35 minutes into the game, one of Ayajaso FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ariel Silbestre came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Ayajaso FC's Vicente Lawrence. But to his dismay, Vicente Lawrence quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. A collision led to Liébana F.C. getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Oscar Nahia hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aureliano Lleir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Sixto Cordero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Liébana F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 55th minute, Vicente Lawrence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ayajaso FC's Carmelo Ubarna got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Ayajaso FC booed when Liébana F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Furman didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Vicente Lawrence got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ramiro Indar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ariel Silbestre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Silbestre was a little too slow when Vicente Lawrence got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 2-4. In the 76th minute, Benjamin Dolcet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 80 minutes into the game, Ramiro Indar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ayajaso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Liébana F.C. the free kick. In the 83rd minute Americo Giraldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Quilino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvano Quilino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Nahia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 89 minutes of play, Ayajaso FC's Vicente Lawrence made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ariel Silbestre was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 93 played minutes Liébana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Lleir. Silvano Quilino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Lleir in the 95th minute of the match. Ayajaso FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
