Haroldo Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Narciso Nikola's late challenge caught a Rosario Central's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Narciso Nikola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Narciso Nikola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robustiano Abadie took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvano Quilino. Ayajaso FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Abel Brion to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Ayajaso FC's Benjamin Dolcet made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Haroldo Gaztea was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 60th match minute, Ayajaso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Mel to maneuver through the defense. Haroldo Gaztea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Dolcet, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. If Vicente Lawrence had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vicente Lawrence in the 66th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Haroldo Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Rosario Central defense, Vicente Lawrence kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Haroldo Gaztea. The Rosario Central fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haroldo Gaztea should have stopped the shot. Benjamin Dolcet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Gaztea having to interfere. If Benjamin Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Gaztea came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Ayajaso FC's Vicente Lawrence. But to his dismay, Vicente Lawrence quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-2. Rodrigo Rufo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Vicente Lawrence received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Haroldo Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamin Dolcet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
