The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelo Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Valente in the 8th minute of play forced Rosario Central's goalkeeper Haroldo Gaztea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Haroldo Gaztea came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Ausonia AFC's Maximiliano Sanchez. But to his dismay, Maximiliano Sanchez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rosario Central's Ambrosio Leobardo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Albino Ibar but with some difficulty. Marcelo Valente sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Sanchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Haroldo Gaztea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Orlin during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, one of Ausonia AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ausonia AFC. Rosario Central's Haroldo Gaztea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximiliano Sanchez in the 30th minute of play. In the 32nd minute Marcelo Valente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haroldo Gaztea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximiliano Sanchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Gaztea having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Marcelo Valente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ausonia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Valente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haroldo Gaztea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelo Valente fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Gaztea having to interfere. Laureano Dodorol kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Abel Brion made the kick off in the second half. Higinio Taurino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Valente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. In the 81st match minute, Rosario Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Abadie to maneuver through the defense. Valentin Guillelmus was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Rosario Central's Haroldo Gaztea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central from getting a goal against them. If Robustiano Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
