Lanus AC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA FRASADA the free kick. The supporters of LA FRASADA booed when Lanus AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Ederono didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7thth minute of the game Sergio Acarreta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA FRASADA's Tadeo Isias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tadeo Isias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Didier Pironi in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Lanus AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Ponc to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the match, Sergio Acarreta notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of LA FRASADA's Tadeo Isias. Tadeo Isias was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Sergio Acarreta fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lanus AC's protests and gave Sergio Acarreta a yellow card for diving instead. After 19 played minutes Lanus AC got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Acarreta. Tadeo Isias came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Lanus AC's Didier Pironi. But to his dismay, Didier Pironi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Lanus AC's Sergio Acarreta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tadeo Isias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Sergio Acarreta made a precise shot to the right of Tadeo Isias. LA FRASADA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Sergio Acarreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tadeo Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Lanus AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Ponc to maneuver through the defense. If Elias Ponc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Isias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Acarreta in the 46th minute of play. Tadeo Isias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Acarreta in the 48th minute of the match.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Acarreta got free with Tadeo Isias in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jacobo Aritza's late challenge caught a Lanus AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Aritza helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lanus AC booed when LA FRASADA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Aritza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Isias made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Acarreta in the 58th minute. With a little luck, LA FRASADA's Tadeo Isias got control of the ball when Sergio Acarreta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Placido Chabier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, LA FRASADA's goalkeeper Tadeo Isias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Acarreta. 69 minutes into the match, Sergio Acarreta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadeo Isias. LA FRASADA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sergio Acarreta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Sergio Acarreta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Tadeo Isias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Acarreta took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tadeo Isias. Tadeo Isias dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. With a little luck, LA FRASADA's Tadeo Isias got control of the ball when Sergio Acarreta tried to sneak it across the goal line. 81 minutes into the game, Sergio Acarreta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Tadeo Isias was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacobo Aritza hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Didier Pironi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Acarreta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeo Isias having to interfere. Didier Pironi struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Tadeo Isias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lanus AC. Lanus AC played a much better game than LA FRASADA and deserved their victory. The LA FRASADA players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
