After 2 minutes, Fulgencio Galeno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arrutó AFC and the VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Arrutó AFC's Fulgencio Galeno got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 5thth minute of the game Damian Valiente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arrutó AFC's Luisito Argoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Damian Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th play minute Faustino Amaya came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luisito Argoitz. 1-0. Bernardino Heriberto hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Luisito Argoitz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Damian Valiente went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ's Damian Valiente got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Damian Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardino Heriberto charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Heriberto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 29th match minute, Arrutó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Heriberto to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Valentin Mergildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Mergildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Argoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faustino Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Argoitz having to interfere. Inocencio Araoz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Lucila in the 39th minute of the match. After 41 played minutes VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Piorno. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Damian Valiente made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ booed when Arrutó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Belo didn't get a good kick on the ball. VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Valiente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luisito Argoitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Amaya in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ's Damian Valiente sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisito Argoitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jonathan Guzman's late challenge caught a VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Guzman helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Damian Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot. The referee gave Fulgencio Galeno a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Fulgencio Galeno hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ were the better team. VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
