Spectators: 7303 (Terracing: 5513, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Placido Esiquio took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the game, Placido Esiquio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Vinicio Reus was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 6 minutes into the game, Baltasar Gonsalvo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casavindo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico River Plate the free kick. Baltasar Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Casavindo's Flavio Camerino got a free kick in the 9th minute. Club Atletico River Plate's Silverio Iigo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Casavindo. Erasmo Giro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Tiadoro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico River Plate's Silverio Iigo got a free kick in the 13th minute. Vinicio Reus made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Placido Esiquio sent off a good shot on target. 20 minutes into the match, Placido Esiquio notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Club Atletico River Plate's Vinicio Reus. Vinicio Reus was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 23 minutes, Placido Esiquio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casavindo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Esiquio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 27 minutes, Octavio Abel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico River Plate and the Casavindo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Club Atletico River Plate's Vinicio Reus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atletico River Plate from getting a goal against them. Placido Esiquio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vinicio Reus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Casavindo's Placido Orain got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Atletico River Plate's defense didn't have a chance, in the 43rd minute, when Placido Esiquio scored to the left of an out of position Vinicio Reus, making the score, 4-0. Placido Esiquio took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Reus. Vinicio Reus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

If Placido Esiquio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atletico River Plate's Vinicio Reus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Placido Esiquio in the 65th minute of play. After 67 minutes, Placido Esiquio made it 7-0 with a short kick to the right side. Club Atletico River Plate's Vinicio Reus tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinicio Reus stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Placido Esiquio's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Placido Esiquio took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vinicio Reus. Vinicio Reus dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. In the 75th minute, Octavio Abel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Reus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Esiquio in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute Placido Esiquio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Reus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Atletico River Plate defense, Placido Esiquio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vinicio Reus. The Club Atletico River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vinicio Reus should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Casavindo's Placido Esiquio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vinicio Reus made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 10-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Esiquio in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vinicio Reus prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavio Camerino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Placido Esiquio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casavindo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
