Hernan Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Chorache having to interfere. Jeremias Gabrio came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico River Plate's Mateo Rik. But to his dismay, Mateo Rik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a little luck, Club Atletico River Plate's Rafael Chorache got control of the ball when Hernan Paul tried to sneak it across the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Honorio Urtungo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rafael Chorache, 2-1. In the 45th minute of the match, Hernan Paul got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rafael Chorache was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Americo Tristan made a kick off. After 101 played minutes Río IV United FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Senon. Río IV United FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
