An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Esiquio in the 14th minute of play forced Arrutó AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Placido Esiquio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernardino Heriberto during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bernardino Heriberto kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Ismael Xacintu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Argoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Argoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Xacintu in the 41st minute of the match. Casavindo's Placido Esiquio got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Esiquio was the one to do the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 54 minutes into the game, when Justo Laffitte put in a rough tackle. Elpidio Tiadoro had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Roque Martinez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Arrutó AFC's Luisito Argoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Arrutó AFC from getting a goal against them. Flavio Camerino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Argoitz having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Placido Orain reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luisito Argoitz. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 75th minute, Arrutó AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Placido Esiquio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arrutó AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Placido Orain 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. Placido Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrutó AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Argoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavio Camerino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Argoitz having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Placido Esiquio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Casavindo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Placido Esiquio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Arrutó AFC's Luisito Argoitz got control of the ball when Placido Esiquio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Casavindo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
