Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Honorio Urtungo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 8 played minutes Arrutó AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Guzman. Damian Quintin was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 10th play minute Hernan Paul came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luisito Argoitz. 1-0. Honorio Urtungo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Luisito Argoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arrutó AFC's Luisito Argoitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Arrutó AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 22nd match minute, Arrutó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Heriberto to maneuver through the defense. If Candido Lucila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Río IV United FC's Hernan Paul got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Hernan Paul came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Río IV United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hernan Paul couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Gabrio came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Arrutó AFC's Serafin Quinten. But to his dismay, Serafin Quinten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hernan Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Argoitz having to interfere. Hernan Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jonathan Guzman fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrutó AFC's protests and gave Jonathan Guzman a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Arrutó AFC's Jonathan Guzman got a free kick in the 44th minute. Honorio Urtungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Serafin Quinten made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Paul in the 56th minute of play forced Arrutó AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Argoitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 played minutes Arrutó AFC got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Guzman. 58 minutes into the match, Hernan Paul notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Arrutó AFC's Luisito Argoitz. Luisito Argoitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Serafin Quinten came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Arrutó AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Quinten couldn't finish the play. If Hernan Paul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Paul might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Argoitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hernan Paul ran back to his position shaking his head. If Vicente Vincente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Río IV United FC's Vicente Vincente suffered a concussion in the 74th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. In the 75th minute, Jonathan Guzman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Hernan Paul sped through Arrutó AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Luisito Argoitz. When Bernardino Heriberto fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arrutó AFC's protests and gave Bernardino Heriberto a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Río IV United FC booed when Arrutó AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Heriberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Río IV United FC's Damian Quintin tried to score from far away in the 86th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hernan Paul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Río IV United FC had played much better football throughout.
