Gorina's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damian Valiente was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ildefonso Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Inocencio Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gorina's zone, Faustino Amaya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnaldo Quilo came out of the goal and Faustino Amaya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 26 minutes, Damian Valiente made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Gorina's Arnaldo Quilo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Faustino Amaya fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Quilo having to interfere. If Damian Valiente had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oscar Ugaitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Inocencio Araoz came out and tried to block the shot, but Oscar Ugaitz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 35th minute. With a little luck, VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ's Inocencio Araoz got control of the ball when Ildefonso Atarratze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ildefonso Atarratze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Inocencio Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Oscar Ugaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Gorina's Oscar Ugaitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Inocencio Araoz. Inocencio Araoz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Ugaitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Gorina getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Amadeo Efren hit a great ball. Faustino Amaya made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 61stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Arnaldo Quilo would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Ildefonso Atarratze took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inocencio Araoz. Inocencio Araoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. In the 74th minute Damian Valiente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Quilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ's Damian Valiente in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With his leg Arnaldo Quilo managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ's Faustino Amaya fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Inocencio Araoz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Ugaitz in the 92nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Gorina's Donato Salvator got a free kick in the 98th minute. The long shot by Venancio Libertad in the 99th minute really tested Arnaldo Quilo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the VERDANI - ADIÓS AL MZ players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Gorina.
