If Candido Lucila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Eugenio Stephen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matador's supporters rose to their feet, but Eugenio Stephen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luisito Argoitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Stephen in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Argoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th match minute, Arrutó AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Guzman to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Rodrigo Marcones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Matador's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Marcones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arrutó AFC's goalkeeper Luisito Argoitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 16 minutes, Rodrigo Marcones managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Marcones was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Matador's goalkeeper Esteve Mendiko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Rodrigo Marcones who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arrutó AFC's Luisito Argoitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rodrigo Marcones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matador's Eugenio Stephen got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serafin Quinten stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Esteve Mendiko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Quinten, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute, Victorino Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Serafin Quinten in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Mendiko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 58th minute Candido Lucila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteve Mendiko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 61 minutes of play, Matador's Eugenio Stephen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisito Argoitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Esteve Mendiko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Candido Lucila in the 68th minute of the match. After 72 played minutes Rodrigo Marcones rounded Arrutó AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-2. In the 76th minute of the match, Rodrigo Marcones tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luisito Argoitz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rodrigo Marcones received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Luisito Argoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matador's Esteve Mendiko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Quinten in the 82nd minute of play. Serafin Quinten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugenio Stephen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luisito Argoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Marcones, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Matador could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arrutó AFC throughout the match.
