Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sixto Frasquito kicked off to start the match. After having played for 4 minutes, Sixto Frasquito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Vagos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sixto Frasquito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Dante Felipo hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in BOCA JUNIORS fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 7th minute. Penalty! BOCA JUNIORS:s Baldomero Elizardo showed great skill when he stopped Melquiades Rio:s penalty. 10 minutes into the game, BOCA JUNIORS's Eusebio Gaztea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Laurendi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. David Laurendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Gaztea in the 17th minute of the match. Vicente Che made in the 19th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Delmar Jerardo however managed to control. Eustacio Nerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Severino Savion came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the BOCA JUNIORS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Savion couldn't finish the play. If Eusebio Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmar Jerardo took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baldomero Elizardo. Baldomero Elizardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eusebio Gaztea to strike the kick off in the second half. Eusebio Gaztea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Laurendi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th match minute, Los Vagos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Che to maneuver through the defense. 61 minutes into the game, Eusebio Gaztea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BOCA JUNIORS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Vagos the free kick. Eusebio Gaztea kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Sixto Frasquito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Elizardo was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. David Laurendi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusebio Gaztea in the 69th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Eusebio Gaztea took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for David Laurendi to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Gaztea in the 75th minute of play forced Los Vagos's goalkeeper David Laurendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebio Gaztea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Laurendi having to make a save. If Severino Savion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustacio Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BOCA JUNIORS were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
