After 13 played minutes Casavindo got a freekick which was hit by Placido Esiquio. 18 minutes into the game, BOCA JUNIORS's Eusebio Gaztea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Tiadoro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. With his leg Baldomero Elizardo managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when Casavindo's Placido Esiquio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Esiquio got free with Baldomero Elizardo in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Placido Esiquio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Rosario hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. After 41 minutes, Flavio Camerino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Casavindo and the BOCA JUNIORS players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Placido Orain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Esiquio's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Baldomero Elizardo firmly grabbed it by the left post. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eusebio Gaztea made a kick off. Placido Esiquio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baldomero Elizardo having to interfere. Eusebio Gaztea struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Elpidio Tiadoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOCA JUNIORS. The Casavindo fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Casavindo's Placido Esiquio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Severino Savion kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Valentin Rosario charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valentin Rosario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to BOCA JUNIORS getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Valentin Rosario hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Esiquio in the 73rd minute of play forced BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Baldomero Elizardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Esiquio in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baldomero Elizardo saved BOCA JUNIORS from getting behind. BOCA JUNIORS's Severino Savion got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Casavindo's Elpidio Tiadoro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebio Gaztea in the 81st minute of play. Baltasar Gonsalvo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. BOCA JUNIORS's Eusebio Gaztea got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Placido Esiquio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomero Elizardo was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Casavindo were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
