Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tambillos's Nunez Tauro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benito Manny's late challenge caught a Peñico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Manny helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 minutes, Matias Rosalio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tambillos and the Peñico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 7th minute, one of Tambillos:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tambillos. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Peñico. Tadeo Veto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Hilario Gomesano. 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Astor Tauro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tambillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Astor Tauro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilfredo Sandaili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 played minutes Nunez Tauro rounded Peñico's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Astor Tauros short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Wilfredo Sandaili to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tadeo Veto hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Iker Illan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iker Illan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Gomesano having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Benito Manny's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wilfredo Sandaili was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. If Astor Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Damian Leizarraga fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Peñico's protests and gave Damian Leizarraga a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Peñico! Matias Rosalio shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When Damian Leizarraga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 44 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Peñico's Damian Leizarraga got a free kick in the 45th minute. Tambillos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matias Rosalio in the 48th minute. Benito Manny kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iker Illan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Astor Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Peñico defense, Nunez Tauro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilfredo Sandaili. The Peñico fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilfredo Sandaili should have stopped the shot. Benito Manny was shown his second yellow card after 58 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 58th match minute, Tambillos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benito Manny to maneuver through the defense. Tambillos's Santos Petri got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iker Illan got free with Hilario Gomesano in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 65th minute Astor Tauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Sandaili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilfredo Sandaili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nunez Tauro in the 66th minute of play. Saul Matthew sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilfredo Sandaili showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Astor Tauro in the 71st minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Peñico's goal looked a bit too open when Astor Tauro came free, but Wilfredo Sandaili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nunez Tauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Wilfredo Sandaili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iker Illan couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Iker Illan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hilario Gomesano. Tambillos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Illan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 84 minutes into the match, Tambillos's Astor Tauro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilfredo Sandaili narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iker Illan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Hilario Gomesano made a huge save. Astor Tauro struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Wilfredo Sandaili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tambillos. Astor Tauro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Wilfredo Sandaili having to make a save. If Astor Tauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peñico succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Tambillos had controlled the match.
