The audience was convinced that Angel Bonadona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gustavo Rodriguez was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. The supporters of Barrialito FC booed when Saavedra FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Gipuzkoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Angel Bonadona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Gustavo Rodriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Francisco Salvadore kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Francesco to strike the kick off in the second half. When Fabio Birjaio fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barrialito FC's protests and gave Fabio Birjaio a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Barrialito FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Birjaio. In the 58th minute Angel Bonadona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Rodriguez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Abel Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angel Bonadona couldn't finish the play. Angel Bonadona struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Gustavo Rodriguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saavedra FC. Hermengildo Totakoxe hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Angel Bonadona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saavedra FC's Angel Bonadona got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulo Guib recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Barrialito FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Saavedra FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
