He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in La Banda FC reached it. 25 minutes into the match, Argentino Peñarol's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Maura came free, but Benigno Bilbo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feliciano Roldanillo in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severo Sagrario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Feliciano Roldanillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severo Sagrario was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Feliciano Roldanillo made the kick off in the second half. Benigno Bilbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Maura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vladimiro Lobo's late challenge caught a La Banda FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
