Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 2) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Higinio Euloxu kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Arsenio Mateo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mandisoví's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matheu the free kick. Arsenio Mateo hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Damaso Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Domingo Jusepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 6th minute Higinio Euloxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo Bitxintxo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 minutes of play, Matheu's Fausto Ihazintu made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingo Jusepe was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 17 minutes, Dario Colon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matheu and the Mandisoví players grew even worse after the yellow card. Higinio Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damaso Franco scored 1-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingo Jusepe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cosme Azubeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo Bitxintxo having to interfere. Damaso Franco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Domingo Jusepe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Fausto Ihazintu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Matheu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fausto Ihazintu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Sayveon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Jusepe having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Damaso Franco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Domingo Jusepe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Matheu defense, Cosme Azubeli kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teo Bitxintxo. The Matheu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teo Bitxintxo should have stopped the shot. Teo Bitxintxo made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Cosme Azubeli sent off a good shot on target. After 46 played minutes Matheu got a freekick which was hit by Dario Colon. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Ihazintu was the one to do the kick off. Damaso Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Domingo Jusepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damaso Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the game, Matheu's Damaso Franco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Domingo Jusepe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. Damaso Franco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Domingo Jusepe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Matheu's goal looked a bit too open when Cosme Azubeli came free, but Teo Bitxintxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Matheu's Damaso Franco dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. If Fausto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Euloxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Teo Bitxintxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Cosme Azubeli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandisoví's supporters rose to their feet, but Cosme Azubeli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teo Bitxintxo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teo Bitxintxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Euloxu in the 82nd minute of the match. When Dario Colon came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Matheu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dario Colon couldn't finish the play. If Fausto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Ihazintu struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Domingo Jusepe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matheu. Damaso Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matheu's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
