After a defensive mix-up in Cazapán AFC's zone, Gerardo Arnas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pablo Rito came out of the goal and Gerardo Arnas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 17th minute Gerardo Arnas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Rito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Bittor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruperto Vincent in the 22nd minute. When Carlos Rolado fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cebollar's protests and gave Carlos Rolado a yellow card for diving instead. In the 27th minute, Carlos Rolado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Bittor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Cucao, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Cazapán AFC's Ruperto Vincent got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gaspar Modestio kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruperto Vincent got free with Denis Bittor in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Eladio was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Cebollar getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Fabian Vincente hit a great ball. If Ruperto Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. Denis Bittor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruperto Vincent went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Cebollar's Angelo Eladio got a free kick in the 74th minute. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Arnulfo Cucao put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Denis Bittor. Angelo Eladio struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Pablo Rito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cebollar. After having played for 84 minutes, Arnulfo Cucao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cazapán AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnulfo Cucao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Bittor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Rocendo in the 87th minute of play. In the 95th minute of the match, Gerardo Arnas got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pablo Rito was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cazapán AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
