Sporting Menem DEAD's Everardo Selmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Menem DEAD from getting a goal against them. Filiberto Guilabertus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Guilabertus struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Everardo Selmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Colón de Santa Fe. In the 47thth minute of the game Manuel Mantzio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colón de Santa Fe's Albano Matei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Albano Matei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Mantzio in the 53rd minute of the match. Manuel Enaut kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Albano Matei acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 60th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Albino Elequemedo. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Francis in the 79th minute of play forced Colón de Santa Fe's goalkeeper Albano Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd minute, Manuel Enaut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the game, Manuel Enaut cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3.
