An unexpectedly hard shot by Paolo Francis in the 11th minute of play forced Vijarras Club's goalkeeper Lorenzo Berart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Fertus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Berart having to interfere. Lorenzo Berart made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Victoriano Fertus sent off a good shot on target. Vijarras Club's Lorenzo Berart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Vijarras Club from getting a goal against them. In the 24th minute, Juan Ignacio Mercier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute of the match Albino Elequemedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lorenzo Berart skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Sporting Menem DEAD booed when Vijarras Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Manuel Mantzio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lorenzo Berart, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Urko in the 34th minute of play forced Sporting Menem DEAD's goalkeeper Everardo Selmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Augusto Bitxintxo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lorenzo Berart came out and tried to block the shot, but Augusto Bitxintxo slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 41st minute. 47 minutes into the match, Victoriano Fertus dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Lorenzo Berart, 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jesus Hermon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Vijarras Club defense, Manuel Mantzio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lorenzo Berart. The Vijarras Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Berart should have stopped the shot. Lorenzo Berart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victoriano Fertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the game, Juan Ignacio Mercier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vijarras Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Menem DEAD the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vijarras Club's Juan Ignacio Mercier got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jesus Hermon kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. When Abel Rutenio came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Vijarras Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Rutenio couldn't finish the play. After 72 minutes, Saul Txindoki mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vijarras Club and the Sporting Menem DEAD players grew even worse after the yellow card.
