Nicolas Gomesano was slow to take the kick. During this time Los pataduras FC's players had a chance to rest. Nicolas Gomesano made a great header on Los pataduras FC's corner, it was just that Chaco For Ever's Angelino Herena managed to reach the ball for a save. Ubaldo Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Javiar having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Chaco For Ever was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Reyes to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Silvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Angelino Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Chaco For Ever's Cosme Javiar threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ubaldo Tristan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 35th minute, Prospero Ruisko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Ubaldo Tristan made the kick off in the second half. Arnaldo Ereinotz's late challenge caught a Los pataduras FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Ereinotz helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Chaco For Ever's zone, Nicolas Gomesano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Herena came out of the goal and Nicolas Gomesano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 56 minutes into the match, Chaco For Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Arnulfo Silvino came free, but Angelino Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute, Virgilio Canor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th match minute, Los pataduras FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Favila to maneuver through the defense. Arnulfo Silvino struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Angelino Herena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los pataduras FC. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Reyes in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cosme Javiar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Arnulfo Silvino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Angelino Herena, 0-2. If Arnulfo Silvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chaco For Ever's Angelino Herena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Chaco For Ever from getting a goal against them. Arnulfo Silvino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Angelino Herena having to make a save. When Virgilio Canor came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Los pataduras FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Canor couldn't finish the play. Angelino Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnulfo Silvino, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Los pataduras FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los pataduras FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
