Jairo Peruxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Javiar having to interfere. After some careless play in the Los pataduras FC defense, Jairo Peruxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cosme Javiar. The Los pataduras FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cosme Javiar should have stopped the shot. Jairo Peruxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Javiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Peruxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Caleufú FC booed when Los pataduras FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Favila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los pataduras FC's Cosme Javiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Rico in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 played minutes Los pataduras FC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Corderun. Marciano Rico scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cosme Javiar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cosme Javiar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Peruxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Marcos Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnulfo Silvino in the 32nd minute of play. If Marciano Rico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caleufú FC's Jairo Peruxu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marciano Rico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cosme Javiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cosme Javiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Rico in the 42nd minute of play. Alfredo Frederico charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alfredo Frederico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes Caleufú FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Frederico. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jairo Peruxu to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored Los pataduras FC's protests and gave Igor Favila a yellow card for diving instead. When Jairo Peruxu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Caleufú FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jairo Peruxu couldn't finish the play. In the 90th minute, Marciano Rico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Caleufú FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
