Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rolando Inguma got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes in the game Edgardo Ascencio did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Isidoro Orkatz. After a rather tough play, Cachueta's Jesus Saturnin got a free kick in the 5th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Inguma in the 7th minute of play forced Cachueta's goalkeeper Generoso Domenec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cachueta's zone, Isidoro Orkatz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Generoso Domenec came out of the goal and Isidoro Orkatz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Generoso Domenec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Casomiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. A collision led to Cachueta getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Gregorio Blai hit a great ball. In the 39th minute, Gavino Gorbea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 41st minute, one of Cachueta:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cachueta. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Río de La Plata. Braulio Honesto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Generoso Domenec. 0-3. Rolando Inguma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Domenec having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gavino Gorbea made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Rolando Inguma had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Domenec. Cachueta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rolando Inguma was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Generoso Domenec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Inguma in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Cachueta booed when Río de La Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Casomiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Río de La Plata's supporters rose to their feet, but Braulio Honesto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Domenec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 79th minute, Río de La Plata's Sixto Checa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Generoso Domenec. Generoso Domenec yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Generoso Domenec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Orkatz in the 82nd minute of the match. Generoso Domenec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Checa in the 84th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Rolando Inguma made a precise shot to the right of Generoso Domenec. Cachueta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Mark got free with Generoso Domenec in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute, Rolando Inguma left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Río de La Plata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. Río de La Plata played a much better game than Cachueta and deserved their victory. The Cachueta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
