No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Inguma made a kick off. Joel Mark's late challenge caught a No me importa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Mark helped the player get up and apologised. Joel Mark hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Rolando Inguma fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucio Salvator having to interfere. Lucio Salvator showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Checa in the 66th minute of the match. Braulio Honesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Lucio Salvator tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Moises Felo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. No me importa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Río de La Plata the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Checa in the 75th minute of play forced No me importa's goalkeeper Lucio Salvator to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sixto Checa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, No me importa's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Casomiro came free, but Lucio Salvator reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucio Salvator showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Inguma, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Río de La Plata fully deserved thier win.
