Spectators: 6988 (Terracing: 5388, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Tomas Paskal took the kick off in the first half of the match. Virgilio Bastiaro kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 9 played minutes Saavedra Unido got a freekick which was hit by Aquilino Servando. 12 minutes into the match, Saavedra Unido's goalkeeper Gustavo Mincho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Ihazintu. The supporters of Ballester fc booed when Saavedra Unido was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Gonzales didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Felipe Misael had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Urbasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ballester fc's Emiliano Ihazintu got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Felipe Misael made a kick off. Emiliano Ihazintu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ballester fc's Emiliano Ihazintu got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gustavo Mincho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emiliano Ihazintu's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Teodosio Iyan's late challenge caught a Ballester fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teodosio Iyan helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Saavedra Unido:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ballester fc:s goal. After a long run with the ball, Serafin Ledesma did a trick in the 71st minute in front of Saavedra Unido's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-0. An impressive performance by Ballester fc's Serafin Ledesma! After 79 minutes, Mario Sidoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saavedra Unido and the Ballester fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mario Sidoro kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Miguel Gudesteo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Misael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustavo Mincho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Paskal, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Silvio Odol kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. If Carlos Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ballester fc had won after a very even match.
