Hipolito Arnas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidro Sayveon having to interfere. Jeronimo Paez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Gökçe Özsahin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Villa Urquiza FC booed when Los de Siempre f.c. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Etor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th match minute, Villa Urquiza FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Birjaio to maneuver through the defense. If Nemesio Teyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th minute Filomeno Urtsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Sayveon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Los de Siempre f.c.'s goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Urtsua came free, but Isidro Sayveon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Urtsua in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Sayveon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeronimo Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Filomeno Urtsua was the one to do the kick off. After 55 minutes of play, Los de Siempre f.c.'s Jeronimo Paez made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gökçe Özsahin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Villa Urquiza FC's Gökçe Özsahin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugenio Oskarbi in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Los de Siempre f.c.'s zone, Filomeno Urtsua stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Sayveon came out of the goal and Filomeno Urtsua tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carolo Mateo hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Villa Urquiza FC's Ruben Berdoi got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute Eugenio Oskarbi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökçe Özsahin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Isidro Sayveon made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Hipolito Arnas sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Arnas got free with Isidro Sayveon in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hipolito Arnas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Isidro Sayveon made a huge save. Jeronimo Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Villa Urquiza FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
