The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 played minutes Suda Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Jacinto Macias. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Silban during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Suda Football Club booed when Arnoldo Janssen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Silban didn't get a good kick on the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Suda Football Club's Emilio Rius broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 9 minutes, Martin Asteri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Suda Football Club and the Arnoldo Janssen players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th match minute, Suda Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Asteri to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute of the match Oscar Ustariz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Diego Bieito showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Diego Bieito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonides Tiso, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. If Paulo Sidoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jacinto Macias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Loiola having to interfere. With a little luck, Arnoldo Janssen's Gonzalo Loiola got control of the ball when Clodoveo Bakar tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Leonides Tiso came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Arnoldo Janssen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Tiso couldn't finish the play. Gonzalo Loiola took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Macias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmacio Hug hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Arnoldo Janssen's Gonzalo Loiola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Arnoldo Janssen from getting a goal against them. Oscar Ustariz charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oscar Ustariz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arnoldo Janssen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Clodoveo Bakar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Jacinto Macias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 84 minutes, Paulo Sidoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Arnoldo Janssen and the Suda Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clodoveo Bakar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 97thth minute of the game Jacinto Macias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arnoldo Janssen's Gonzalo Loiola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Suda Football Club had won after a very even match.
