The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Celestino Betadur was the one to do the kick off. After 71 minutes, Edgardo Endura mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RACING CLUB and the Guillermo Brown players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes RACING CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Endura. After a defensive mix-up in Guillermo Brown's zone, Silvestre Jurdan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaudencio Osorio came out of the goal and Silvestre Jurdan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, RACING CLUB's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ladislao Eli fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to RACING CLUB getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Israel Dayam hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Celestino Betadur got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ladislao Eli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Lehoi having to interfere. Evelio Ofelio kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Evaristo Lehoi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 96th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Godfredo Colon.
