In the 7th minute, Enrique Buinton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erubiel Cordarell was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Luisito Chepe kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Erubiel Cordarell. That made the score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Anfama AFC's zone, Serafino Piarres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severiano Saturnin came out of the goal and Serafino Piarres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enrique Buinton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Erubiel Cordarell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luisito Chepe struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Erubiel Cordarell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anfama AFC. Anfama AFC's Luisito Chepe got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Moises Eusko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th match minute, Polvaredas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafino Piarres to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute Luisito Chepe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Cordarell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Polvaredas's Moises Eusko got a free kick in the 43rd minute. When Polvaredas's Reynaldo Gergori in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Anfama AFC's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luisito Chepe made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Anfama AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Gergori came free, but Severiano Saturnin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Luisito Chepe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anfama AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. After some careless play in the Anfama AFC defense, Adrian Henry kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severiano Saturnin. The Anfama AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severiano Saturnin should have stopped the shot. In the 64th minute, Reynaldo Gergori reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Severiano Saturnin. The goal made the score 3-2. Adrian Henry was extremely unlucky when he, in the 68th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Adrian Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Severiano Saturnin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Enrique Buinton came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Anfama AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Buinton couldn't finish the play. Erubiel Cordarell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Chepe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Henry took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Severiano Saturnin. Severiano Saturnin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. The supporters of Polvaredas booed when Anfama AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anier Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Gergori in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Saturnin saved Anfama AFC from getting behind.
