But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lino Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. Rolando Karmel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Gaizkine in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Gaizkine in the 22nd minute of play forced F.C. Neptuno's goalkeeper Rolando Karmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Karmel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Constantino Leobardo went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Agronomía FC's Rolando Ereinotz got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Agronomía FC booed when F.C. Neptuno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Ibon didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Agronomía FC's goalkeeper Amador Oliverios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zeledon Urbez. In the 44th minute, Teo Urbasa fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Amador Oliverios, passed just outside the right post. Agronomía FC's Amador Oliverios proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Agronomía FC from getting a goal against them. With 47 minutes on the clock, Godfredo Rocendo commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Constantino Leobardo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agronomía FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Constantino Leobardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Karmel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amador Oliverios came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. Neptuno's Haroldo Ibon. But to his dismay, Haroldo Ibon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Agronomía FC's Amador Oliverios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Ibon in the 66th minute of play. Zeledon Urbez scored 6-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Amador Oliverios, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 73 minutes, Zeledon Urbez made it 7-1 with a short kick to the right side. Agronomía FC's Amador Oliverios tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 77 minutes into the game, F.C. Neptuno's Zeledon Urbez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amador Oliverios made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1. After a rather tough play, Agronomía FC's Virgilio Frechoso got a free kick in the 80th minute. 85 minutes into the match, Haroldo Ibon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amador Oliverios.
