Anfama AFC's Severiano Saturnin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victor Kaxen in the 8th minute of play. If Enrique Buinton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luisito Chepe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Gervasio Santxol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bochas Sport Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervasio Santxol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Anfama AFC booed when Bochas Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Chucho didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bochas Sport Club's zone, Enrique Buinton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Chaime came out of the goal and Enrique Buinton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
