A collision led to Bochas Sport Club getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Abel Jordy hit a great ball. F.C. Neptuno's Tomas Rufio got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bochas Sport Club's Evelio Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Haroldo Ibon in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Ermegildo Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zeledon Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Bochas Sport Club defense, Tomas Rufio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Chaime. The Bochas Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Chaime should have stopped the shot. Teo Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bochas Sport Club's Claudio Paul was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rolando Karmel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When F.C. Neptuno's Zeledon Urbez in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bochas Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of F.C. Neptuno booed when Bochas Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Mambru didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Victor Kaxen fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bochas Sport Club's protests and gave Victor Kaxen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of F.C. Bochas Sport Club's Evelio Chaime played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Rufio in the 43rd minute of play. Zeledon Urbez took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evelio Chaime. Evelio Chaime dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The F.C. Neptuno fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when F.C. Neptuno's Zeledon Urbez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Victor Kaxen to make the kick off. Teo Urbasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Evelio Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bochas Sport Club's zone, Zeledon Urbez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Chaime came out of the goal and Zeledon Urbez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 minutes, Jeronimo Bordat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C. Neptuno and the Bochas Sport Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bochas Sport Club booed when F.C. Neptuno was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Bordat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomas Rufio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Evelio Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 68th minute, but Evelio Chaime got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Bochas Sport Club hanging dry this time. Teo Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeledon Urbez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 74thth minute, Evelio Chaime skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Claudio Paul kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. With his leg Evelio Chaime managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when F.C. Neptuno's Zeledon Urbez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, F.C. Neptuno's Haroldo Ibon got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Teo Urbasa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85thth minute of the game Zeledon Urbez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bochas Sport Club's Evelio Chaime was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeledon Urbez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Evelio Chaime tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zeledon Urbez in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Evelio Chaime prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zeledon Urbez in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evelio Chaime saved Bochas Sport Club from getting behind. F.C. Neptuno's Rolando Karmel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Jordy in the 99th minute of play.
