Fulgencio Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Rolando Ereinotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 21 minutes, Rolando Ereinotz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Agronomía FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Ereinotz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Froilan Atarrabi took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amador Oliverios. Amador Oliverios dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Agronomía FC's Amador Oliverios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Gelacio in the 30th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Aurinegro Millonario's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Gaizkine came free, but Fulgencio Guilabertus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Leobardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Guilabertus having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Horacio Peio made the kick off in the second half. Gaston Garaile hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Lino Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Fulgencio Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Garaile charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaston Garaile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rolando Ereinotz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Guilabertus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Rolando Ereinotz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lino Gaizkine sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Ereinotz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Guilabertus having to interfere. Fulgencio Guilabertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Ereinotz in the 77th minute of play. Severiano Gelacio in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amador Oliverios, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rolando Ereinotz struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Fulgencio Guilabertus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Agronomía FC. Amador Oliverios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Peio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Constantino Leobardo's late challenge caught a Aurinegro Millonario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Leobardo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Aurinegro Millonario booed when Agronomía FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Leobardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Agronomía FC's goalkeeper Amador Oliverios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Gelacio. 93 minutes into the match, Agronomía FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Peio came free, but Amador Oliverios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurinegro Millonario were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Agronomía FC's much stronger midfield.
