Amador Oliverios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisito Chepe, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 14th minute, one of Anfama AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Anfama AFC. Anfama AFC:s Severiano Saturnin showed great skill when he stopped Lino Gaizkine:s penalty. Agronomía FC's Lino Gaizkine got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anier Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Agronomía FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Gaston Vela hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Agronomía FC's Aristides Bernaldo got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Enrique Buinton's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amador Oliverios read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Rolando Ereinotz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Agronomía FC booed when Anfama AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silverio Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th match minute, Anfama AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saverio Ferrando to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Severiano Saturnin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 69th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. If Lino Gaizkine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. Anfama AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Buinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Lino Gaizkine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Enrique Buinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 91 minutes, Oscar Benat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anfama AFC and the Agronomía FC players grew even worse after the yellow card.
