Fabio-Roman Paappanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herminio Ibon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio-Roman Paappanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, LAZO's Atilano Librado got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute, Fabio-Roman Paappanen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herminio Ibon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Victorio Calvino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Achuppallas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorio Calvino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the match, LAZO's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio-Roman Paappanen came free, but Herminio Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 played minutes Achuppallas got a freekick which was hit by Fabio-Roman Paappanen. Achuppallas's Fabio-Roman Paappanen got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th match minute, LAZO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Librado to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Fabio-Roman Paappanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. LAZO's Herminio Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Bermund in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesar Mergildo was the one to do the kick off. Salvador Gonzales's late challenge caught a Achuppallas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salvador Gonzales helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, LAZO's Salvador Gonzales got a free kick in the 56th minute. Cesar Mergildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Rodrigo Nafría tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. LAZO's Cesar Mergildo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cesar Mergildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio-Roman Paappanen kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Achuppallas's Fabio-Roman Paappanen got a free kick in the 70th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cesar Mergildo in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Nafría prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 75 minutes into the match, LAZO's goal looked a bit too open when Ceferino Quinton came free, but Herminio Ibon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LAZO's Herminio Ibon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobaldo Bermund in the 78th minute of play. When Emanuele Bolli came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Achuppallas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Bolli couldn't finish the play. If Fabio-Roman Paappanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuele Bolli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ceferino Quinton fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 86th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. With a little luck, LAZO's Herminio Ibon got control of the ball when Emanuele Bolli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fabio-Roman Paappanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Ibon having to interfere. Ceferino Quinton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Achuppallas's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
