When Luisito Chepe, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 13 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Fulgencio Guilabertus was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fulgencio Guilabertus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Enrique Buinton in the 17th minute. With his leg Fulgencio Guilabertus managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Anfama AFC's Luisito Chepe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Luisito Chepe put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Fulgencio Guilabertus. After 33 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Aurinegro Millonario! In the 34th minute, Roberto Procopio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Severiano Saturnin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Horacio Peio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Severiano Saturnin was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Severiano Saturnin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eriberto Benvido. Aurinegro Millonario's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
