The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Polvaredas booed when Aurinegro Millonario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severiano Gelacio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaston Garaile's late challenge caught a Polvaredas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaston Garaile helped the player get up and apologised. Gaston Garaile hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Reynaldo Gergori fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Guilabertus having to interfere. Aurinegro Millonario's Gaston Garaile got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Gaston Garaile off the ground. After 23 played minutes Aurinegro Millonario got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Garaile. Adrian Henry struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Fulgencio Guilabertus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polvaredas. Adrian Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Guilabertus having to interfere. If Adrian Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30thth minute of the game Adrian Henry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aurinegro Millonario's Fulgencio Guilabertus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Reynaldo Gergori in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fulgencio Guilabertus saved Aurinegro Millonario from getting behind. Adrian Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Fulgencio Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Aurinegro Millonario got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Atarrabi. In the 48th minute Reynaldo Gergori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Guilabertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reynaldo Gergori was the one to do the kick off. Fulgencio Guilabertus made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Adrian Henry sent off a good shot on target. If Severiano Gelacio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute of the match Clodoveo Camerino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fulgencio Guilabertus showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adrian Henry blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fulgencio Guilabertus having to make a save. 63 minutes into the match, Polvaredas's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Gelacio came free, but Erubiel Cordarell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Polvaredas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Llorienzo to maneuver through the defense. Erubiel Cordarell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Bertol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adrian Henry's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Guilabertus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Adrian Henry sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Aurinegro Millonario's zone, Reynaldo Gergori stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Guilabertus came out of the goal and Reynaldo Gergori tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moises Eusko hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Severiano Gelacio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aurinegro Millonario's supporters rose to their feet, but Severiano Gelacio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Cordarell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aurinegro Millonario's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Reynaldo Gergori 88 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-3. In the 95th match minute, Aurinegro Millonario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Peio to maneuver through the defense.
