After a defensive mix-up in Quetan FC's zone, Tomas Rufio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anastasio Suero came out of the goal and Tomas Rufio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 5 played minutes Quetan FC got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Gerazan. Rolando Karmel made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Victorino Francis sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 22 minutes, Tomas Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Neptuno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Zeledon Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Urbasa in the 33rd minute of play. If Tomas Rufio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Zeledon Urbez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.C. Neptuno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Tomas Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. Neptuno's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Rufio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Suero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The wind increased when Zeledon Urbez made the kick off in the second half. Haroldo Ibon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Anastasio Suero made a huge save. Salvador Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Rolando Karmel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Ibon in the 64th minute of play. From close distance Zeledon Urbez pressed in the 0-2 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 71 minutes into the game. Zeledon Urbez struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Anastasio Suero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Neptuno. When Quetan FC's Salvador Millano in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye F.C. Neptuno's goalie prevented a goal. After some careless play in the Quetan FC defense, Zeledon Urbez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anastasio Suero. The Quetan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anastasio Suero should have stopped the shot. Silverio Gerazan kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute of the match, Teo Urbasa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Anastasio Suero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zeledon Urbez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Anastasio Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quetan FC's Anastasio Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teo Urbasa in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over F.C. Neptuno could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Quetan FC throughout the match.
