A very good chance for a goal. In the 31st minute of the match Guillermo Leguizamón shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Anastasio Suero showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th match minute, Aurinegro Millonario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horacio Peio to maneuver through the defense. Anastasio Suero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Peio in the 41st minute of play. Anastasio Suero made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Severiano Gelacio sent off a good shot on target. Quetan FC's Victorino Francis got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Peio to make the kick off. Julian Koldo hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Anastasio Suero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horacio Peio, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. If Froilan Atarrabi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salvador Millano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fulgencio Guilabertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anastasio Suero came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Aurinegro Millonario's Severiano Gelacio. But to his dismay, Severiano Gelacio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Salvador Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Wilfredo Calixto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute Salvador Millano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fulgencio Guilabertus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Aurinegro Millonario fully deserved thier win.
