The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Sanduru got free with Jairo Silban in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Nerio in the 9th minute of play forced Chilca's goalkeeper Jairo Silban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rompeculos Fortineros's Silvio Lope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Inocencio Jobo in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Eleuterio Rey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chilca's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Rey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Lope breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fidel Gar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleuterio Rey took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silvio Lope. Silvio Lope dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Rompeculos Fortineros's zone, Fidel Gar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvio Lope came out of the goal and Fidel Gar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eleuterio Rey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes Chilca got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Duardo. Silvio Lope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fidel Gar in the 40th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Shepherd during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Shepherd kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. With a little luck, Rompeculos Fortineros's Silvio Lope got control of the ball when Fidel Gar tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Rompeculos Fortineros's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Rey came free, but Silvio Lope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvio Lope made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Fidel Gar sent off a good shot on target. Sixto Nerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th match minute, Rompeculos Fortineros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Obeko to maneuver through the defense. Silvio Lope showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Rey, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Jairo Silban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sixto Nerio in the 74th minute of the match. Rodolfo Ekhi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Silban having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sixto Nerio in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Silban saved Chilca from getting behind. After 89 played minutes Chilca got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Duardo. Sixto Nerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chilca walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
