The San Fernando FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidoro Sergi should have stopped the shot. Isidoro Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Jerico in the 14th minute of play. Ciro Hunfredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jonatan Laurin during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pastor Jerico made a kick off. In the 55th minute, Eriberto Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Jerico in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Sergi saved San Fernando FC from getting behind. If Jonatan Laurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 59th match minute, Juanillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emiliano Rioja to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Juanillo FC booed when San Fernando FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Ulizes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emilio Baudelio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Honorato Tonio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. Juanillo FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
